WHAT I DID THIS SATURDAY

This is a result of another very small picture in a magazine. Hers did not have the head and arms( sorry about the poor quality photo) but was a pear with legs. I am hand appliqueing it and of course it  will be machine quillted. Can you guess the name? "WHAT A PEAR OF LEGS!" I can see my daughter rolling her eyes again. Oh well....a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

OLD WORK IS NEW WORK

I have three of these dresden center blocks, completed last year. Today I decided to create Dresden Tiles. Each tile will have a different border fabric. I' not sure if they will be connected or separate quilts. Time will tell. They measure 17 1/2 x 20 1/2. Hope your weekend is productive and happy. Happy Easter!

HOW I SPENT MY SATURDAY

I know this is weird, but I came across this 2010 Prims magazine and this guy was in it. He is a doll made and designed by doll maker Stacy Mead.www. ravenshavenpatterns.com. While I could not find the pattern for this guy, she has some great things. I did email her to get permission to use her design to make a quilt. I think it turned out well. I'm a nurse so you know i think it is hilarious.
