SATURDAY'S FEATHERS CLASS

I could not get organized enough to take pictures during class, but it was fun, fun, fun. I think everyone felt more comfortable creating feathers and learned they are not just for heirloom quilts. How about you? Take a class. It always gets the jucies flowing.

A FEATHERING WE WILL GO

I am really hot to trot about this Sat. class on free motion feathers. It is such a joy to see students "get it". Sorry about the poor photo's.

NEVER SAY NEVER

So what did I do on my two week vacation at the beach? Well I sewed of course. I never need a vacation from the sewing machine. This is one of three projects I completed. I was never going to do hexagons as they seemed tedious and very old fashioned. Well this is stripped pieced and very simple. You can find it in the Oct. 2009 issue of McCalls quilting magazine. I think Sandy Klop has a pattern also. It will be one of the class projects for my Wed. group. Thanks for checking out the blog!
