QUILTING FOR TEXTURE

Sometimes with lots of color the quilting can get lost.

I find simple slightly curvy lines are the best.

Use a bold thread, 30 or 40 wt.

Pick a color, almost any color and just do it!

Beautiful pictures!
I have used 40wt to quilt, need to try some larger thread. And I always ask myself "is it about the quilting or about the quilt?". If it is about the quilting, then more elaborate design is needed, if it is about the quilt, then texture is most important. Thanks!

Frances this is a great idea. I have a small quilt that this would be perfect.
