The response to the FMQ Challenge has been incredible. I want to thank everyone for their wonderful comments about the tutorial and my work. I could not have done this without my friend Nell Walker. She is amazing. I would also like to take this opportunity to answer some questions.
1. What machine did I use in the video?
I have the older Juki TL 98E. It is really fast and powerful.
2. What batting did I use for the Tree sample?
I used Warm and Natural. I love the way it performs while quilting and how it holds up in the quilt after years of use.
HAPPY QUILTING And remember.........It's not a quilt until it's quilted.

Thank you so much for the great Tutorial on quilting. I will try my best.
Thanks for that tutorial, great pattern to start
I love Warm and Natural as well thanks for sharing that!
thanks for the tutorial.
I was just curious why you use the #14 top stitching needle and different weight thread when quilting?
Thank you for your time, great video. I have tried the warm and natural and thought it to be really thin and was afraid the quilting wouldnt show but your quilt shOws the quilting just fine. Are there different thicknesses of the WN?
Do you pre-wash the warm and natural to keep it from shrinking and puckering the quilt? Thank you for answering my other questions.
Just had the chance to watch this video (can we say 'catch up!') and wanted to thank you for sharing your expertise with us. I love that you shared the thread you are using. Everyone seems to have differing opinions about what works and it's great to see a sample in action.
You also answered a questions I had...Which machine you are using. I looked so fast and smooth! I'm always trying to find the right speed. I bought a Bernina with a BSR and like it, but yours seem much smoother. I'm going to think experience is the key ;-))
