Does anyone still do Zentangle? I don't see it very often anymore. I think it is great as a FMQ warm up. The solid is a marker and the rest is stitched. I used 30 wt and 50 wt cotton and a poly in the background.
A really great way to do a little FMQ in a short amout of time.

Very clever! I keep looking at zentangle but since I can't draw worth beans, have never tried it. Your coffee cup is adorable and yes, would be a good warm up.
Beautifull and a great idè :-)
Would be nice on a mugrug....
Great idea.... I'll give it a try though I have my doubts about my drawing skills...

I had never heard of zentangle until a few weeks ago...lol. But I love your piece!!! Is there a thread that you usually use in the bobbin; or does it change....I'm not sure what I should be using most of the time...
Love your Zentangle steaming coffee in a cup. I still lots of zentangle. I've not tried it.
I love zentangles...I call it zendoodling. I do the doodles mostly on paper....but have tried it with the sewing machine and want to do more. You don't have to be able to draw to do it....sooooo fun!!!
Well, I doodle....with a pen on paper and with the needle in my machine......wonderful way to steal creative moments whenever I can. :-)
oh boy that is super cute. I gotta make one of those now :) That is perfect for a mug rug.
cool! I haven't tried that yet.
I just discovered zentangle two weeks ago and love how easy it is. I'm not a doodler but have been really getting into it and hope to start using it in my quilting. Great job on the coffee cup.
