This is a very special pin cushion. This shoe is of course one of two, that I wore for my wedding. They were made in Italy using an incredible linen. I took pieces of the fabric from my dress that needed to be altered and made the insert. I attached trinkets, buttons, and other pieces of antique lace. The bow on the back was from a wedding gift. On the bottom is inscribed our names and the date. This shoe is going to be 16 yrs old in Sept. Just newly weds.
