A CHALLENGE

The real challenge is getting this posted. As I was saying..It can be challenging to quilt a top that has extreme color changes.

You could change the thread colors as needed....

Or find one color that works for the whole quilt.

That turned out to be Sew Fine 50/3 in a color called Snow.

How great is that for a Christmas quilt?

 

FORGOTTEN QUILT

 

You know you have too many quilts when you "discover" one under a pile. This quilt brings back fond memoies of my first days of teaching. If you're bored with the strip it process, try a template pattern. It will perk up the process. Wheel of Mystery is a great template pattern to try. Have a great week.

ANOTHER LABEL

Wouldn't this make a great quilt label? It is from the graphics fairy. She has quite a collection of sewing related clips.

QUICK QUICK I NEED A LABEL !

I know you have seen those self binding baby blankets all over the Internet and you tube. I thought why not create a smaller version to use as a label...you know those things we are supposed to put on all our quilts? The gold fabric measures 6 inches and the red measures 12 inches square. Otherwise it is made the same way.It ends up measuring 8 x 8 inches. The only thing I would suggest is that you write your label info before you do all that sewing in case you make a mistake. What do you think?
